Day one of our first Nutritious Movement - Move Your DNA workshop, went down here at Barefoot Space today.
We have a fantastic class, FULL of individuals who want to learn to move not only naturally, but functionally and with ease.
Tomorrow we will be hitting the trails and taking a walk on the wild side. Maybe we will catch a glimpse of the original walker ... SASQUATCH!

Here at Barefoot Space, Im often asked how I care for my feet (other than the weekly pedicure). Not only do i do the following, but I regularly suggest to the athletes that I work closely with that they too would benefit from this specific work.
SOME SIMPLE TIPS: *Sit on the floor with extended legs & about hip-width. Spread your toes apart as wide as possible and hold.
*Actively draw your toes toward your face/knees and hold.
*Point your toes and hold.
*try rolling the entire sole surface of your foot on a lacrosse ball, hold in the bits that suck.🤣 These simple movements can be of benefit to everyone. They're not only corrective but preventive.
It's common practice here at Barefoot Space to assess each individual client apon their first visit and their following treatments.
Clients will be taken through a series of functional movements so that restrictions, strength, weakness and range of motion can be notated and addressed during each session and the duration of the clients treatment plan.

I never claim to be a sappy, fluffy, gooey person but I should throw out a little love and thanks to the dude that has helped & supported me the past 18 bajillion years.
